Meet our team that was created on a foundation of friendship, family, love, and a lot of faith, that led us to be your detailed wedding planners!

We're Brittany and Cole, the heart and hands behind ABC Wedding Essentials, LLC.  Our name, ABC Wedding Essentials, comes from the owners, Brittany and Cole. We complement each other in every way, and together, we make a team that truly cares about every moment of your story so nothing is overlooked.  Angel, who is Cole's mother, helps be our extra set of eyes and hands when needed. This business began as a simple idea and it's grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. Over the past year, we've grown not just in clients, but in connection and we're so grateful you're here! Brittany and Cole have been best friends for years and in the midst, that developed into a love story of its own. After planning many events together, we soon discovered that we each had strengths and together we made a pretty miraculous team. Brittany and Cole, although a great partnership, each bring different perspectives and talents to the table. Brittany is our feminine touch, with an eye for design and aesthetics, she is our floral designer and lead planner, making sure everything is in place and running smoothly. Cole is our certified wedding planner. He is the one doing the communication, negotiating contracts, and booking vendors. With his experience in weddings, every plan is thought out strategically. The two of the them bring the planning and execution to life, fine tuning every detail of your wedding or event. 

MEET BRITTANY

"I'm Brittany - lead planner, designer, and full time x-ray tech during the week.  I spend my nights and weekends diving into every detail of your day, creating timelines, coordinating with vendors, crafting your layout and décor, making sure nothing gets overlooked. But the truth is, the way I plan comes from something even deeper than my love for weddings and gatherings. I'm a mom to the most amazing little boy, Bentley. He has taught me patience, grace, and how to truly cherish the little things.  After experiencing a great deal of tragedy in my 20s, I decided to finally do something that brings joy not only to myself but to others. I lost my mom unexpectedly when I was 25, a year later my son was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease at age 2, and less than a year after that I went through a divorce. As much as those things crushed me at the time, those experiences molded me into the person I am today and I am grateful for the many blessings along the way. Because of Bentley, I see every guest differently- and I work to make sure every person at your wedding feels welcome, considered, and included. Bentley is now 8 and has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. The secondary meaning of unconditional love, would be Cole himself. Cole came into our lives almost 5 years ago and what was a true friendship for many years, developed into a new family. Cole accepted us both as we were and to him we have no flaws. I hope that is what each of you find in each other. I have always loved organization, decorating, the attention to detail, and presentation. It is in my nature to plan and do for others and that gives me the incredible feeling of accomplishment. I am able to use my talents and expertise in planning to go over every fine detail leaving nothing to chance. As an xray tech for almost 10 years now, I am used to operating on a strict timeline and being attentive to detail. In addition to the professionalism of it all, being a mother to a special needs little boy, brings a  unique perspective of empathy, patience, and understanding that enriches our approach to ensure every couple's needs or accommodations are met. I look forward to working with you and together I know we can create a day that will be so memorable and the perfect depiction of your love story."

MEET COLE

"Hey everyone, My name is Cole Wagner and I am so excited to meet you! 

I am so looking forward to making your dream day a reality! Here is a bit about me. While Brittany is working her full time job during the week, I am handling weekday meetings and walkthroughs, gathering all of the information she needs to start the planning process. I have worked in customer service for many years including server, manager, bartender and caterer. I went to school for Early Childhood Education with specifics in Special Education. Though I did not stay in the school system for long, I did learn several life long lessons and gained memories that will last a lifetime from my time! About 5 years ago, I was looking for a change in work as I was getting burned out being in the restaurant business. This is when I met Brittany, and I began to be the primary caregiver for her son Bentley.  What started off as a dear friendship between Brittany and myself, along with a strong connection with Bentley, slowly turned into my own amazing story. That friendship turned into me realizing that I had met my soulmate and that I was so lucky to have not only her but also Bentley in my life. I have learned so much over the years caring for Bentley and bonding with him. Being able to bring in my knowledge of working with Special Ed and molding it into exactly what Bentley needed on a one-on-one level helped me to fine tune my skills of preparation, organization and above all, patience. So, with my background as a teacher and caregiver, combined with my experience as a server, bartender, caterer, and manager, I've refined my skills in organizing, preparing, and keeping everything running smoothly. I’m confident that these experiences, along with my ability to stay calm under pressure, allow me to work seamlessly with Brittany to ensure your day is as stress-free and perfect as possible. Once again, I can’t wait to work with you!"
