Meet our team that was created on a foundation of friendship, family, love, and a lot of faith, that led us to be your detailed wedding planners!

Our name, ABC Wedding Essentials, comes from the owners, Brittany and Cole. We complement each other so well, making the ultimate dynamic duo.  Angel, who is Cole's mother, helps be our extra set of eyes and hands when needed. The idea started when the three of us were all working on a wedding project together one night and the name just stuck. What started as an idea, we have now created into a reality to make memories for years to come. Angel is our biggest supporter and helps with a lot of behind the scenes work when needed. Any extra help is filled in by her, whether that be florals, setup, or direction. Brittany and Cole have been best friends for years and in the midst, that developed into a love story of its own. After planning many events together, we soon discovered that we all had strengths and together we made a pretty miraculous team. Brittany and Cole, although a great partnership, each bring different perspectives and talents to the table. Brittany is our feminine touch, with an eye for design and aesthetics, she is our floral designer and she makes sure everything is in place and running smoothly. Cole is our certified wedding planner. He is the one doing the communication, negotiating contracts, and booking vendors. With his experience in weddings, every plan is thought out strategically. The two of the them bring the planning and execution to life, fine tuning every detail of your wedding or event. 

MEET BRITTANY

"Hey Everyone, my name is Brittany Shelton and I cannot express how excited I am to help each and every one of you make your fairy tale a dream come true. As cliche as it is, that's what every girl dreams of. A perfect day, with the perfect partner. I am 32 years old and after experiencing a great deal of tragedy in my 20s, I have decided to finally do something that brings joy not only to myself but to others. I lost my mom unexpectedly when I was 25, a year later my son was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease at age 2, and less than a year after that I went through a divorce. As much as those things crushed me at the time, those experiences helped mold me into the person I am today and I am grateful for the many blessings it has brought to me along the way. Being a mother to my son, Bentley, who is now 7, has taught me the greatest level of patience, accommodations, and the true meaning of unconditional love. He really brings new meaning to "cherish the little things". The secondary meaning of unconditional love, would be Cole himself. Cole came into our lives almost 5 years ago and what was a true friendship for many years, developed into a new family. Cole accepted us both as we were and to him we have no flaws. I hope that is what each of you find in each other. I have always loved organization, decorating, the attention to detail, and presentation. It is in my nature to plan and do for others and that gives me the incredible feeling of accomplishment. I am able to use my talents and expertise in planning to go over every fine detail leaving nothing to chance. As an xray tech for almost 9 years now, I am used to operating on a strict timeline and being attentive to detail. In addition to the professionalism of it all, being a mother to a special needs little boy, brings a  unique perspective of empathy, patience, and understanding that enriches our approach to ensure every couple's needs or accommodations are met. I look forward to working with you and together I know we can create a day that will be so memorable and the perfect depiction of your love story."

MEET COLE

"Hey everyone, My name is Cole Wagner and I am so excited to meet you! 

I am so looking forward to making your dream day a reality! Here is a bit about me. I have worked in customer service for many years including server, manager, bartender and caterer. I went to school for Early Childhood Education with specifics in Special Education. Though I did not stay in the school system for long, I did learn several life long lessons and gained memories that will last a lifetime from my time! About 5 years ago, I was looking for a change in work as I was getting burned out being in the restaurant business. This is when I met Brittany, and I began to be the primary caregiver for her son Bentley.  What started off as a dear friendship between Brittany and myself, along with a strong connection with Bentley, slowly turned into my own amazing story. That friendship turned into me realizing that I had met my soulmate and that I was so lucky to have not only her but also Bentley in my life. I have learned so much over the years caring for Bentley and bonding with him. Being able to bring in my knowledge of working with Special Ed and molding it into exactly what Bentley needed on a one-on-one level helped me to fine tune my skills of preparation, organization and above all, patience. So, needless to say, my time as a teacher and caregiver along with my experience as a server, bartender, caterer and also as a manager while organizing, preparing and orchestrating daily schedules to keep things moving along smoothly, I feel I have the ability to work along with Brittany to make your day as stressless and perfect as it can possibly be. Once again, I can’t wait to work with you!"
